you need to take clas to do your best in this class but mr cooper does a fien job teaching considering having over 900 students to teach and also... he is randomly holarious

Do the hw and go to class and you'll do fine in the class. The midterms had some tricks to them so be wary. The teacher tells jokes during class but he runs out of truly funny runs by the end, then they just become long stories for one pun.

I really enjoyed this teacher. He made calculus one of my favorite classes to go to.

Daryl is an amazing professor. Highly engaged with students and has an incredible passion for math and education. His once a lecture jokes are also great, even the bad ones.

Daryl brings humor to the lectures so students find themselves interested and paying attention becomes easier. Pretty easy if you attend all the lectures. He is very helpful in giving practice midterms and finals also.

hahaha. he's funny. his jokes are hit & miss. he loves jason bourne. its an easy class if you just try a little.

Great proffesor. i hate math, but i did really actually liked this class and understood what i was doing. this was my first encounter with calculus and i was fine. he makes lots of corny jokes plays music and youtube videos and it makes the lectures interesting. he is very enthusiastic for teaching and does a lot to help you pass the class

Great professor who honestly cares about teaching the material. He made the class entertaining and even though his offbeat humor may not be for everybody, he has moments of true English wit that truly relieves any tension in the lecture hall.

really good professor. i would attend class because his lectures are useful. didnt like reading the book though. he tries hard to get his students to laugh in his class. some of his jokes are really funny and some are egh. he wants his students to pass so he gives you the higher grade between the class grade and the final grade so far fav professor

he tells lame jokes dont get them most of the time but makes class slightly more interesting, his british accent makes u have to pay attention otherwise if you zone out you wont get anything.the class wasnt that bad, pretty simple.

Good teacher and tries his best to make class fun. Taking CLAS for this class is very helpfull!

He curved grades of C, C+ and B- to a B. Not fair for people who already have a B! He's really funny! The class is pretty easy. A lot of homework. I just go to class, click on my iclicker, sleep, do homework and study for exams.

He was a really interesting professor. I HATE math. I mean hate it. The most I took was algebra 2 in high school and Cooper made things simple and interesting for me. He's very silly during the lectures but he's also very dedicated to his job. I definitely recommend this class. :) Also, buy his book! The practice midterms are VERY useful.

Daryl was an amazing teacher who is evidently passionate about what he does. He always keeps class light hearted with jokes and movie clips, but also is great at explaining concepts and his grading process is completely fair. study for your tests it makes the difference

For starters, he's the first math professor I've had that actually makes math fun (and funny--he's got the dry, British humor). As for teaching, he's thorough. He likes to teach you the meaning behind math, not just formulas. Overall, great teacher, great class. Tests are easy if you aren't a slacker--they're fair.

honestly he is a good professor. he is helpful, passionate, and wants everybody to do well. hes pretty funny too and its cool how he tells jokes. this class wasn't too difficult so thats a good thing.

This is the one of the greatest teacher i have ever had.He is a very funny man, he always has jokes to tell and isnt just one to lecture. sitting in his calss is more like watching a performance than actually sitting through a lecture. A very interesting technique.
