Daryl is a genius. Real nice guy, if you go in and talk to him he is super chill. He knows when you try, go to class, do hw and you will at least get a B

Copper is a great teacher! He's always very enthusiastic about lectures, and tells jokes throughout his lectures! He curves the class, and wants everyone to pass. Take his class! :)

Learned nothing at all from neither professor nor textbook. Got a 50% first midterm but did the practice tests from online for the other midterms and final and got A's on each. Easy A, especially if you're good at word problems/Algebra and have taken some Calculus before. So glad I took Math34A instead of Math 3A.

I think D.A.R.Y.L Cooper is an interesting professor. He'll try his best to make sure that you understand, with that said, if he asks for questions then you better ask or you'll be lost. I think that his class is just an interesting class to get used to. With his gusto and big class size, it would definitely be a challenge to keep up with everyone.

Daryl is a good professor. I'm horrible at math and this class KILLED ME. Mandatory attendance &homework 3 times a week is required. Tests are extremely hard, but you do get a notecard front and back for each test. Tutoring along with class lectures are the only thing that got me through. Daryl is awesome. He's really funny and the tests aren't that hard. He actually wants you to pass the class. Attendance is required because of iClickers. He explains the concepts very well.

Okay class.. He wrote the textbook (over 10yrs old). Book is unhelpful. Lacks examples. Fun lectures w/ good jokes & video. Iclickers class = attendance Hard test. Failed first midterm, then got 100% on other 2. His teaching is difficult to understand. Not always the best method taught. He gives an effort bonus btw. (bumps C+,B- to B) STUDY HARD

D.A.R.Y.L is super chill. For a required class(bio major) he really tries to make sure you pass and get into your major. All his tests are exactly like he posts on gauchospace. Definitely get him if you have to take math!

Cooper is a great guy... gotta love his English accent. He trys really hard to keep the class engaged and tells a joke each class which I appreciated even though most of the time they weren't the funniest. For an entry level math class I don't think it was too difficult. Attend lecture for the bonus points and go to section for the quiz points.

Cooper is not a very good teacher, he acts like we've all taken calculus before and understand everything. I learned more in my section and CLAS than in his class. It's not hard though, you'll probably do fine if you're just taking it as a required course for your major.

Cooper rocks! I'm NOT a math person. I took this class as a requirement and was afraid of failing, but thanks to Cooper I did well. He's predictable and tells you pretty much exactly what you will be tested on, plus he allows you to bring a notecard to the tests. Alot of the grade is based on effort, so you dont have to be a math genius to do well.

Very easy class. He gives you practice exams for the midterms and final that are pretty much exactly like the real test. Lectures are extremely simple, homework is pretty hard. Midterms are nothing like the homework though so its not a problem. Easy A

Practice midterms and clas helps alot. really funny teacher always tells a joke and seems like he cares about teaching. easier class than math 3a. study for midterms and you should be fine. recommend this teacher if you put in enough effort he will give you a B. reccommend

Daryl is an awesome teacher. He keep lectures interesting especially for math. The homework is irrelevant to class and sometime lectures are fast and confusing. But wouldn't have taken it with another professor.

He is awesome! He makes you laugh, he's crystal clear, if you have any questions you can ask him. He is simply a wonderful teacher with a great english accent and he always reels you into the lesson by making movie preferences such as Jason Bourne (which is his favorite)! The homework is simple and there's a ton of help for his class! GET HIM! =D
