he's hard to understand the finals and midterms are 15 mult choice with an essay of ur choice (out of 2) and if u fail the essay u fail the midterm or final

He is difficult, but a very intelligent man. He has a lot of interesting stories and he knows what he's talking about. Make sure you study for the weekly quizzes and for tests and you'll do fine. He can be quite intimidating though, you just have over look that.

Bad writing, thick accent, and funny guy. Sure the class is difficult, but that's college. My friends and I imitate him when we're ****, it's funny as hell. Take his class, it's not that bad. Read, study, review and you'll be fine. Believe me.

Crouch is a brilliant man. If you want to do well in his class, attend lectures...but most importantly, CLAS! Just read the reader, he pulls from that a lot. Make sure you study the essay questions!

Funny guy, but no ****. The material can be tough, but it depends on how much time you devote to it, but that shouldn't be a problem considering there are no take-home assignments. The tests are short and to-the-point. The essays on the tests are crucial. He goes over a preset list of essays, but you have to go to class to get the answers.

Great class. Go to every lecture and study, it's not that difficult. Even a monkey could get a C in this class with his curve. Besides, where else do you hear phrases such as "congress spends money faster than a ****en sailor in a TJ **** house." You heard it first in crouch's class. Welcome to college, high school is done.

not a bad class if you go to EVERY lecture

He is ridiculous. He says a lot of funny and ridiculous stuff, bu teh reader, especially for econ 2 sucks, and you can't understand anythign he says or writes. But the class actually isn't that hard to get a B in.

He has bad hand writing and he is hard. His tests also are very difficult.

awesome Prof.. he may seem a bit overwhelming at first because he tends to growl instead of speak, and writes worse than a three year old. He called on students when I was in his class, don't wear bright colors! But he's a brilliant guy. The essays aren't hard..just write them down and study them!

This is college. He is a tough professor, and hard to follow, but if you put forth an effort some of his genius might rub off on you. Definately don't take this class your first quarter of college.

anyone who cant pass this class should just drop from the university. its really not that hard. go to lectures, the essays are directly from lecture. the text isn't very good, but overall the class isn't bad. and crouch is hillarious. a little scattered, horrible hand writing, but genius.

These people are babies. Crouch is brilliant in econ. and it comes thru in his lectures. Was helpful when i sought him out. The TA's suck, except for Libby, who's great. The essay is impossible to fail if you study at all (you only need a C-) Overall, Crouch was a really good prof, and FUNNY

this teacher is a ****-ass-mother-****ing-ho. i'm surprised he hasn't sprouted horns yet... he is so satanic. he made me change my major from business/economics to a ****ing SCIENCE major because i didn't want to have him again.

One of the hardest classes that I've ever taken. The professor talks very quickly in class and sporadically calls on students to see if they're paying attention. The tests are extremely difficult. If you don't pass the essay portion you automatically fail the exam. TAs are impossible to understand.

i am taking him again and i don't know why. he need to learn to TYPE. he goes over things sooo fast, trust me, CLAS would definitely help for this class. he's really hard though, grading wise and what he expect of you.

crouch is an antique. He is a pretty horrible lecturer, but as long as you read the book (which isn't hard) and go to discussion, you'll do just fine. DEFINATELY GO TO ALL THE REVIEW SESSIONS - EVERY ONE!!!

He is a bit ****, and highly unhelpful in office hours.

Crouch knows the material for these classes REALLY well. It's true that he criticizes those who don't know the material but overall he's an excellent professor. The grading scheme is a little odd though, and it doesn't reflect knowledge on his exams. Would definitely take more classes with him.

Writes too fast some times but is pretty cool guy. If you like economics you will enjoy this class.

I wanted to shoot myself in this class. He talked too fast, his writing is hard to read, and I didn't understand one thing that was talked about in that class.
