bad stlye of teaching i think that he needs to be more interested in what hes teaching.... he loses you with all the power point slides
Nice guy, funny, not a bad teacher, but the course is poorly organized: lectures do not keep up with chapters in the book and questions on the test are totally ambiguous, so it is pretty much up to you to get your grade.
GREAT CLASS! Looked forward to lectures, very interesting and funny too. The tests are straight forward, very fair, easy to study for just as long as you do all the reading and look over your lecture notes. This class made me want to become a psych major. You don't really need to go to your discussion... they are pretty much a review of the lecture

funny man but i dislike his teaching method. power points that are unorganized. cant really help you because there are 800+ students in campbell hall. midterms and finals are multiple choice.
Very interesting class. Awesome lecturer and a really cool guy! Tests are kind of hard, but if you study for them, it isn't too difficult. Definitely recommend!!
it was kinda hard. but i mean if you pay attention in lecture youll be fine. he is funny as hell though and that will probably help you remeber some of the stuff in the class easier. take it if you have a chance, its kinda interesting
Russel is tight.. he's such a cute and nice guy and he's SO FUNNY.. the midterm and final are kind of hard and thats basically everything your grade is based on.. you have to do 6 research credits but they are super easy but they barely count for points.. section helps.. AS notes are good too because they are done by the professor
Very easy class. Great intro, covers the topics of psychology very well. Taking this class with Revlin will make alot of upper division classes (especially cognitive psych) much easier.
Loved every lecture!
Great course. Funny prof. A tad on the hard side, but a must take.
Revlin is awesome! He's hilarious and tries his hardest to make class interesting and fun. True some lectures are a tad boring, but nothing to bad. Highly recommended freshmen course!
He's funny and not the least bit boring! Think stand-up comedy mixed with Psych lecture... he's tight!! The midterm is pretty hard, haven't done the final yet, but if you listen, read the book, and have some sort of interest in Psychology you will definitely not regret taking a class with Revlin.
He is a pretty funny guy. The tests are not too bad, just try to outline the key points in the chapter so that you wont fall asleep while reading the book.
Prof Revlin is such a cute and funny little man. Although there's a lot of material covered in a short amount of time, he really tries to make everything as clear as possible. Gives you no hints as to what might be on the exams (i.e. no fair game sheets-everything ever mentioned or in text is fair game). Always entertaining! Highly recomended prof
I fell asleep in class on a regular basis. He's a cute little man, and his lectures are easy to follow. He forgets sometimes what he teaches in class so some of the material on his exams we never discussed.

He is not a good professor! He is extremely scatter-brained and unorganized plus his tests are pretty hard too. You need to read the book to do well.
love this guy!! so nice and knowledgable. no need to read, just go to class. alot like high school classes.
Love this guy. Really funny and his lectures are really interesting and clear. No tricky questions on the exams..all multiple choice, but straight-forward. I didn't even read most of the book and I got a B. He's great, fun, and the TAs do good review sessions.
He's funny!
He is a very funny guy and tries his best to relate to his students. Very helpful in office hours and he really wants his students to succeed if they try. His tests are fair but you should definitely keep up on the reading and lectures cus they get harder. Take this class with Revlin, he's great!
