Very unclear. Hard multiple choice exams. Funny but very confusing.
Marginal at best. Fairly entertaining, but his presentations were always disorganized. Sometimes he actually said the exact opposite of what he meant, and had to go back and correct himself later, confusing everyone.

psy 108 is a lot easier than revlin's psy 1 class. if you took psy 1 with him, psy 108 is basically the same class incarnate with the same jokes, videos, and almost the same material. the latter part of cognitive psy gets a little dry though.
Awesome professor. He is one of the few that I know who can get over 800 students to class EVERY lecture. Entertaining and enjoyable. I got three points away from an A... I guess you get a better grade if you read it all.
Great teacher and a great class. if you do the reading and go to lecture, no doubt on an A - i got 97% in the class. ver interesting material and hes funny and makes it great!
He's the BEST teacher i've ever had! he's got a wicked sense of humor! the material is challenging, but his clear lectures along with his very interactive power points will guarantee an A. just pay attention in all the lectures! Tests are medium easy!
This class made me want to major in psych - Revlin is really really funny and has a lot of multi-media in his lectures - tests aren't as hard as he makes you think they will be - but they're not a walk in the park

This was the most enjoyable class I have taken at SB. His lectures are incredibly interesting. The exams aren't too bad...I thought the curve was fair. It makes you study harder. Take this class with him! He's awesome!
He's a really funny teacher, cracks jokes, cool whatever... but in the class there's too much info covered and if you are thinking of majoring in psych DO NOT take this psych class first because you will learn to hate psych
I thought he did a great job! Yes, the class was huge (870 I think), but that's how all the psy 1 classes are going to be...so deal with it.
This was a huge class. I thought that the material was very interesting. I got a bit bored sometimes during lecture. The final was a bit harder than I was expecting. Over all I had a good time.

The first psychology class I ever is the most memorable. Not only because it came first, but because Revlin's pretty funny. And because of Becky.
sooo many people in the class. it was really good tho! revlin is funny and nice and a great teacher! he used a lot of interesting videos too!
Good guy...i never really went to lecture after the first midterm though... I couldnt ever manage to stay awake, but when I did go it wasnt too bad.. the curve is seriously lame with that many people though.
Revlin is a very funny and interesting guy. He added a lot to his class such as clips and interesting stories to keep our attention and also to help us understand and remember the material better. The course is really hard, but he is good prof.
Revlin is good.
Keeps his students interested and can totally make us laugh... shows clips of experiments so he's not lecturing the whole time. It's just a lot of reading because you're tested on lectures, your reading and whatever the TA's teach you. Find a good TA!!
