    Her lectures are funny and engaging; she teaches the material in an easily understandable way. Her exams are incredibly difficult. She grades all or nothing, which means, if you miss one part, she'll dock you all your points. You have to be so locked and study for like a week in advance; still her synthesis questions are very difficult.

    I will say that this was the hardest class I've ever taken and it kind of destroyed me to fail half the exams... But she's funny and a good lecturer and I learned a lot from her class that I don't think I would have with Lewis. Make your reaction sheets early and do all the book problems and you'll prob pass idk the tests are evil

    I think she gets a bad rep because shes compared to Lewis who is the best teacher ever (hard comparison). She's not as clear as Lewis on expectations. Sometimes she can sound judgy, but its more so "I'm bad with social cues and blunt" rather than "I'm a mean person". If you actually talk to her you can tell she wants everyone to succeed.

    Anybody who tells you to take Anyika is not your friend. Her current RMP rating is very deceiving. Please avoid at all costs. This quarter with her has been the most hellish 10 weeks of my life, and I bet she's proud of that.

    She's expects everything but doesn't do much on her side. Her canvas is disorganized in this folder. She sends out half a chapter for you to self-study on midterm days to make up for her slow lectures. She will ruin your mental health. If you're forced to take Anyika, be strong or wait next quarter for Lewis.

    extremely difficult and unfair. Out of two CHEM109B midterms so far, both tests resulted in an average far below passing (about 60%), with not a singular perfect score, let alone even an A! (Top score was an A- on exam 1 and a B on exam 2). would not recommend
