Tropicana Student Living
Like the average google review reads, please stay away from Tropicana at all costs. I promise you can do so much better for the prices they’re charging. When I first moved in, there were dirty footprints on the ceiling and walls from the past tenants who I’m guessing bunked in our room despite insisting our place was clean. Our bathrooms -when they were working- had severe water damage and mold throughout. Maintenance typically took 72+ hours to fix our toilets which broke constantly. The walls are paper thin, and as someone who lived on highest level, so were the floors (the girls beneath us would always slam/bang on the ceiling whenever anyone of the six guys I roomed with would walk around). The food, in which you only get 10 swipes/week (they remove breakfast after the first month + if you don’t use all 10 swipes, too bad) is okay at best. Quiet hours, like privacy, aren’t respected. One guy would bring his huge speaker out from the moment he was home for the whole complex to hear.
