Independent research involving distillation, crystallization, extraction, determination of physical properties, organic synthesis, and use of instrumental methods in organic chemistry.
Prerequisites: Chemistry 6AL and 109A or 109AH; and Chemistry 109B or 130B or 109BH (may be taken concurrently); open to chemistry, biochemistry and creative studies majors only; consent of instructor.
