He was the worst professor I ever had. You can't even understand a word he says, whether you sit in the way back or the front row. Do not take him if you actually want to learn. If you can get by with just reading the books, maybe this class is for you

I REALLY LIKE HIM! I THINK HE IS A GOOD TEACHER, AND A NICE MAN. IF YOU GO INTO HIS OFFICE HOURS, HE HELPS A LOT. HIS TESTS ARE FAIR, AND THEY PUSH YOU TO THINK. LEARNED A LOT IN HIS CLASS!

dont take him if you are majoring in a science. Take harris or van koppen (being the most reccomended). with **** you won't even need to attend lectures, it's up to you.

EASY AS HELL!! Practice tests are almost exactly like the real one...if you need chem for your major and dont give a care about it, take this dude!

He sounds like Boomhower from King of the Hill so i stopped goin to lecture and it was my first midterm in college, so i was severly ****ed when i tried crammin the whole reading in 1 night. i couldnt do any problems but i got an A on the test.

**** cannot teach, or is easy to understand, but his testes are easy and pretty straight forward. You have to teach yourself chemistry, study his practice testes (sometimes the test problems are the same), and go to CLAS to do well in his class!

I took him twice in a row, because he's a nice guy! His tests aren't impossible, and his curve is fantastic. If you're not great at chemistry, don't sweat it - **** may be old, but he knows what he's talking about and is really understanding.

i suck in chemistry, went to class twice all quarter and still came out with a good grade. He allows a page of notes on his tests and if you give a weak excuse he'll excuse you from the second midterm. Very Easy, but don't pan on learning much.

His test are easier then anyone else, but he lacks any type of teaching integrity. If you get the chance make sure you take Van Koppen instead.

he sucks. i cannot understand anything that he says nor understand what the overhead says because its such a small font. If you want to actually get something out of the class, go to Van Koppen. shes the best!

I think he's nice! and his tests are cake- you don't have to stay awake in lecture, or even go to class!!!!!

omg... he really sux. i mean... he's a nice guy and all, but he really can't teach. i couldn't even understand him when i sat in the front! it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth when he teaches!

I slept through a midterm and he was understanding and i still passed the class with a 40% grade.

he mumbles some kind of gibberish, he can't teach. no examples, reads off the overhead. Fell asleep every day, might as well study the book, skip lecture, and you'll still pass.

Cannot understand a word this guy says. Unclear, and uses overheads so you are constantly copying information, unaware of what is important, because you cant concentrate on what

He's old and mean, but easy. Just don't take the class too seriously.

the first day of class i thought he could be an endearing kind of grandfatherly guy but quickly got frustrated by the class and inability to understand the lecture. Go for Van Koppen if at all possible. She is awesome.
