There is a quiz twice a week so you have to go to class & one every disc. This is hard to do when it is at 9.00 and you're still hungover. These are easy quizes though and the tests are just like the samples. Not a hard class if you go/do the hw

He's definitely one of the best math professors I have had. His lectures are very clear, and his jokes are quite amusing! I find the tests to be much easier than the homework assignments, and the pop quizzes aren't too bad.

theres about 2 pop quizzes a week, which is annoying..but he's a cool guy and he's funny, and the midterms are just like the practice ones. he makes everything really easy to understand too, definitely a great professor

I totally recommend this teacher. His jokes are funny and are something to look forward too! especially in a calculus class!!! He is soo chill and his accent is gnarly!!! If you want an easy math take this with Cooper!!! I just love this guy!!!!

Man i love this guy. I usually only show up for his pop quizzes in the first 5 minutes but his class is great too. He always makes up stupid ass jokes to keep us entertained and his accent is awesome. Class is really easy and homework is online. Midterms are just like the practice tests. Too easy for me though, all old material...

He's great at explaining concepts and he's really likable as a person. He goes over problems in depth during class and tries different methods, although this guy does love his pictures. His accent is insanely awesome. Some homework problems are crazy hard. Midterms identical to the ones in the book (= awesome).

Cooper is a chill guy. He really takes the time to make sure that you not only understand how to do the problem, but the concepts behind it. 34A is easy anyways, but he gives new insight into things that you already and makes it fun with his cooky jokes. His tests are exactly the same as the practice ones in the back.

For a calc professor.... this guy is chill.... seriously at least you can understand him... funny jokes too

he is funny and keeps your attention....but some homework questions are INSANE...and are not realevent to ANYTHING that we are learning. funny jokes.

I hate the way he skips back and forth. Why can't we do ALL the car problems, then ALL the linear equations all at once, get tested and move on. For some reason, even though a lot of the math should be the same as the ones I've taken before, the way its organized and asked is a bit confusing, which I think he does on purpose to get a kick out of us suffering.

Real cool, didn't like the whole not there for a week thing, jokes are kinda whack. Other than that, the class is easy if u study and go to discussion.... theres always CLAS anyways

I had him for a class two years ago and thought he was just okay, but now that I've taken these two classes from him he's become one of my favorite math profs. He's big on concepts, and explains things in intuitive ways that help you to really understand the material. He's also pretty kooky; makes the class interesting. Good prof.

Easiest math class I've ever taken.. Don't worry about the other comments, this class is EASY **IF** you do the homework and work out the practice exams (they're identical to the real exams). There's no excuse not to get an A or B in here unless you're too lazy to put in the effort.

worst professor i've had in my life! very unorganized, cruel hw & test, intimidating, unapproachable..all characteristics of a bad professor apply to him. so unfortunate i'm stuck for 2 quarters with him. he makes me hate math!

The lectures were boring and I hated the pop quizzes. Just do your homework and you'll do fine.

Worst class i ever took. not only was he boring, but he was also annoying and hard to listen to. he gives stupid pop quizzes and assign lots of homework each night.

If you go to class, you'll do ok. But the final is worth so much that if you don't ace it then your grade will be shot
