MATH117 . Nguyen G 5 Months Ago

I strongly disliked attending her lectures. I would go to lectures and her and writing was not legible at all, so it was very difficult for me to understand the material. She also has a thick accent which also made it hard for me to understand what was being said. My TA was very helpful in for understanding the material.

MATH117 . Nguyen G 6 Months Ago

Professor Nguyen lectured directly from her notes and just copied them down every lecture. She was hard to understand, and her handwriting was poor. She also moved very fast in lecture, since she was copying the notes. There was no midterm review, which made it hard to get a grasp of how well you were doing in the class. Her class was not enjoyable

MATH104C . Nguyen G 6 Months Ago

honestly such a chill prof. her tests are actually so easy because you can bring an 8.5x11 sheet. i took her for math 104b as well and ended with an A. taking her rn for 104c and i never attend lecture but still dropped an A on the midterm. Homework (10%), 2 Midterms (20% each), Final (20%), Project (30%), so it's a pretty nice grading criteria.
