CollegeWent over the more well tuned and superior functional linear regression instaed of the boring old applied linear regressoin thats lowkey not even needed if you know FLR you'll know LR really well. Along the core, also survey of stochastic processes, measure theory (PSTAT 210, MATH 228B, PSTAT 221A) and some MATH 108A-C, just like a CCS course.
If you have a late pass time, just suck it up and take this class, but avoid it if possible. The lectures are utterly incomprehensible, but attendance counts a lot. Participating isn't hard if you just spam questions and hope a few are "profound." If he can put a name to your face by the end, you'll get a bonus.
The most annoying professor ever
Mandatory attendance and he can't explain anything properly. Avoid. Thinks he's funny but he's not.
Cannot understand anything he explains in class. Exams are way different than what we are actually taught in class. Thanks to the TA for being super helpful.
This was the worst class I have taken. Can be funny at times, but it doesn't make up for all the disorder and confusion. It's almost guaranteed that he loses track and forgets he is teaching a lecture. In my experience, my understanding and grade hinged off of the TA - exams were difficult and confusing. Participation is rewarded heavily. Good luck
