Students will learn about theoretical issues, experimental methods, and data analysis techniques relevant to the study of developmental psychology, including observation of infant behavior, assessment of rater reliability, and analysis, graphing, and presentation of research projects from prospective longitudinal studies (e.g., on adolescent health). She is nice but at first she will seem intimidating. She is a good prof though and I do recommend taking the class. She will likely not write you a letter of rec even if you are in her lab lol.

I am not a huge learner in lectures so i liked that she uploaded lecture videos so I was able to study at home if I wanted to skip class (attendance not mandatory). Her lectures are content heavy and we would often have to finish one lecture in the next. I really like how she would show her own kids participating the experiments! midterm matters!

PSY105 . Liberman Z E A Month Ago

I loved this class. Liberman is very knowledgeable about developmental psych. Lecture is not mandatory and she posts lecture videos, but I looked forward to this class because she often includes interesting/funny videos (eg. of her young kids)! The course is structured simply and logically, and there is no cumulative final. Highly recommend!

Get ready to sit through heavy lectures. Each lecture consists of her yapping non stop on many different topics. Exams are tough but fair. No clicker but if you miss a class you will be very behind since every lecture is jam packed, she also never gets through them bc of how much info is on the slides.

One of my favorite professors ever. She is so passionate and explains concept in a really digestible way. She allows you to retake weekly quizzes until you pass and has a few reflection papers you write on dev. psych studies. Wish I went to office hours more and got to know her more.

She was great. You need to attend lecture to understand her slides but if you pay attention everything makes sense. I enjoyed her class a lot.
