CollegeLectures are just copy pasted theorems from the textbook. She basically spend the entire hour filling in empty spots with formulas without giving you time to think nor provide any useful explanation.
Honestly, using the textbook to learn is better than her sides. I'd recommend using the slides as review material instead. The lectures were sometimes nice, sometimes not. However, the weekly quizzes made sure concepts stuck in your head.
I took her 120B this quarter and I really like her teaching style. There is a lot of interaction in class, and questions are answered patiently to make sure everyone understands. Exams and assignments are not difficult. Go to her lecture and study, then you will get good grades.
Don't be scared by her negative comments from Reddit. Dr. Ravat is a caring and respectful professor - I can see her effort to help students learn the material. Her homework encourages me to review every week and not to binge study before the exam. That's really helpful. Her exam is of reasonable difficulty; if you did learn you'll be fine.
