Qualitative and quantitative measurements to develop laboratory techniques and demonstrate the basic concepts of buffers, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, kinetics, and colligative properties.

Prerequisites: CHEM 1B, CHEM 2B, or CHEM 3B with a minimum grade of C-. Concurrent enrollment, or a grade of C- or higher in CHEM 1C, CHEM 2C, or CHEM 3C. CHEM 2AL (may be taken concurrently).
