She is so crazy but in all honesty, I had fun taking this class. I think her craziness mostly made it entertaining, but she is so passionate about dance and the material was actually interesting. Videos were everyone's nap time. Take notes into your study guide and the class will be a breeze. Easy A and you have fun.

Excellent teacher! Passionate about Dance. Class is really easy only a midterm, final and one paper(2 pages long). Attend 2 concerts and that's it. She gives you the study guide for the midterm and final. Attendance is neccessary cause she gives you all the info! but its a good class and an easy grade! Take it wit friens so u can have a study buddy

You can definately tell that Press is enthusiastic about the subject she's teaching, enough to permeate the energy onto students. I really wanted to learn how to dance after I took her class. Videos are fun! Everything on the study guide is on the midterm and final. Both have 50 MC questions.

Very easy class. Just get the review notes from somebody who already took the class. Her tests are multiple choice!! 2 papers that are BS and 4 concerts. tickets altogether cost me $80. LECTURE CAN GET BORING!!

What a joke. The lady is insane. Easiest class ever, never went to lecture once or looked at the reader. Get the study guide from someone who has already taken the class, it is the same every quarter. If that doesn't work, you can talk at a normal level during the final aka cheat and she doesnt even notice. Everyone does it. Biggest joke class ever

Shes a little out there, but she's nice and very helpful.When not watching video lecture is quite boring, but the material is easy.Everything on tests are in the studyguide so make sure you do and memorize it.have to attend 3 concerts.2 short essays

the woman is insane. the most painful 4 hours of my week. easiest class ever but i cannot stand the woman. no one in this class will ever take dance as seriously as she expects them to.

Her lectures are really boring but the class is really easy. There are some performances that can be boring that you have to go to and write essays about. Take notes directly into the study guide in the reader, then memorize those terms and you'll have an A.

Took this class to fulfill an Area F. The woman is certifiably insane, but it provided for some entertaining lectures. Go to class, take notes, skim through the reader, and memorize every term on the test study guides she gives you, and the class will be a piece of cake.

not fit to teach, needs a better teaching structure

She's extremely helpful, however the review sessions no longer cut it since people were missing lecture and just going to the review. Attendance is important, but the subject matter is really quite captivating. I'm not a dance major, but I was crazy about this class. On the last day she received a standing ovation.

shes very passionate about dance! im not a dance major / interested in dance whatsoever but she taught it well. must attend some performances but those are fine. two papers, midterm, and final. fell asleep quite a bit but got a B. lectures arent super mandatory but go to review sessions, theyre helpful!

You don't really need to attend lecture. Half the people didn't and only showed up for the review. She is really passionate about dance and some of the movies are interesting. Personally, I really enjoyed the class. For someone who is not artistically inclined, this class was an easy A and a quick way to get the fine arts requirement out of the way

i skipped class alot and i thought the tests were EXTREMELY easy. if you bring a computer and during the midterm/final review sessions write down everything that comes out of her mouth (which half of the time is useless stuff), you will do well on the tests. you have preformances to attend and papers to write about them, but those are easy to BS.

Ahh the space tossing is boring, and you get to chain dance in a huge group. She is a nice lady, but the course just isnt that interesting

Lots of reading in the reader, need to know names and different types of dance, which seems ridiculous. space passing everyday, it's nice because it wastes time. In the beginning very incoherent but midterm and final mult. choice!
