WRIT 1CE - ACE Approaches to University Writing

Principles of critical reading, thinking, and writing in the university. Writing focuses on analysis of academic discourse and development of rhetorical strategies. The Academic Communities of Excellence (ACE) version of this course provides a smaller, more dynamic learning environment to support student success at the university. Completion with a grade of C or better meets Entry Level Writing Requirement.

Prerequisites: Has not completed the Entry Level Writing Requirement and received a score of 6 or lower on the Analytical Writing Placement Exam or score of 1 on Collaborative Writing Placement Exam.
