Psychology - PSY

An overview of theory and research related to emotion and its neural basis. Topics may include: behavioral, neural, and computational approaches to understanding emotions, the neural substrates of fear and other discrete emotions, functions of emotions, regulation of emotion, group and cultural differences in emotion, and emotions consequences for social life.

Prerequisites: PSY 102; PSY 106; Open to Psychological & Brain Sciences, Biopsychology, and Interdisciplinary Studies majors only.
