MATH 147B - Differential Geometry of Curves and Surfaces

Parallel transport, geodesics, Gauss-Bonnet Theorem, fundamental theorem of surfaces. Additional topics at the discretion of the instructor may include minimal surfaces, Codazzi equation, surfaces of constant Gaussian curvature, isothermal coordinates, and global theorems for curves.

Prerequisites: Math 6B and Math 147A with a minimum grade of C.
