ENGL 192AF - Afrofuturism & Black Speculative Poetics
Focusing primarily on the literary, this course explores Black speculative world-making in literature, performance, art, popular culture, and criticism. We'll consider how these wild imaginings produce conceptions of the past, race, and theories of knowing and being in alternative terrains, embodiments, and futures.
