Ecology, Evolution & Marine Biology - EEMB

Explores the terrestrial carbon cycle as a central component of the Earth system and a critical frontier for climate solutions. It examines the biological and physical processes that govern terrestrial carbon fluxes and storage, and how these processes respond to global change. The course also engages students in analyzing nature-based solutions and critically evaluating strategies to protect and enhance terrestrial carbon sinks in a rapidly changing world.

Prerequisites: MCDB 1A, EEMB 2, MCDB 1B, EEMB 3, and EEMB 120; Completion of all listed prerequisites with a grade of C- or better.
