Do not take this class this as a GE. His midterm were incredibly hard and included subjects that were not on the study guide. The curves for the final exam and midterm and extra credit opportunities were not imputed at the end of the quarter so your final grade did not reflect what you did over the duration of the course.

Such a tough grader the midterm and final exam were so hard for no reason. He knows people take this class for GE's but he still makes it super hard. Rudy says there's going to be a curve but never gives one. You have to study a LOT for this class and do LOTS of readings

The midterm average was a 64 and the worst part was he said there was gonna be a curve but never put one in. He didn't even grade the midterm until the very last day and never inputed any of the extra credit he made us write multiple pages for. This class is more annoying then major classes and def do NOT take this as a GE

Prof. Busto made class interesting & he has a passion for his work, but the class is so exam heavy and ur only graded on 3 assignments+ sect. attendance. His exams are difficult so STUDY!!! But it wasn't a bad class, just a bit much for a GE

Prof Busto doesnt put in grades timely, curving is very unclear, and hes very critical/inconsiderate when it comes to students missing lecture. Doesnt realized that most students in the class are doing this for GE n not a career. My TA was very inconsiderate as well for grading. If you're taking hard classes thinking this would be an easy GE, dont

Lectures are really easy to listen to; just remember to take notes of lectures and be attentive to the reading. Reading is short for the most part but genuinely interesting and falls in well with lecture topics. Section participation is mandatory.
