CollegeGOAT. I had her for all of 7 series and she is such a passionate lecturer and engaging with her students in and outside of lectures. She is really good at emphasizing the intuition side of physics which can be frustrating but is rewarding. HWs can be long and attendance gives you a small boost in grade but not enough to consider "mandatory".
Paula is not awful for the intro classes like 7A and 7B, but when the material gets much more conceptual and hard (such as 7C) her lectures just become rambly and impossible to understand. I emailed her at least 4 times within the last two weeks of class, and she didn't respond to a single one. Take Daddy Koutralakis instead he's much sexier.
Mediocre lecturer, talked a little too much about theory and derivation than actually doing the problems. Tests were very difficult and always had to be curved by 20-30%.
Very responsive and reasonable with class structure and policies. Always works through important examples which was helpful for 100a.
nicest prof i've ever had. lectures are easy to follow even tho she covers a lot of material in the class. her notes are more than enough to catch u up. overall very accommodating prof and even modified the grading scale for students who did poorly on the midterm. gave some nice extra credit points too!
Lot of derivations in lecture and a lot of math is assumed to be already well known, but the content itself is just hard and there's a lot of it! Very welcoming to feedback, but her tests were hard and did not look like the reviews. Homework is mostly relevant.
