There wasn't a single lab that worked as expected. TAs and Pazos would often change procedures mid-lab to try and get us to get product. Unreasonable amount of work for each lab; each lab report I had to write about 10 pages to include all material required. So time consuming and not helpful.

I really hated this class/gen chem labs and thought they were a waste of time until I started doing research this summer. The class actually taught me a lot on how to think for myself and why I was doing it in the lab. I think Pazos gets too much hate because of how much work the labs are but I see now why there's so much work to do. Great class!

I really enjoyed 3L. It made me feel like an actual scientist and my TA was helpful and gave good feedback. It was the first time the class was taught but Pazos has pretty clear expectations. I like how we were able to redo the experiments. The whole class was doable and I think most of the class ended with an A or B.

This class made me realize why I want to do research. I had a lot of fun taking this class and I think I really understood how to explain my data. The prof was very responsive and helpful and so was my TA. It was cool taking a class with only chem majors. Make sure you follow the rubrics provided

Prof was nice and my TA was very helpful. If you go to the Profs ONDAS office hours she rarely has people go to those so you can ask her advice on what to do with a chem career. I liked being able to plan my own experiments in this class.

Dr Pazo is the friendly professor I've had. I really enjoyed this class and have her to thank for helping me find a research position in my major. I wasn't sure what I would get out of it but im actually studying for my classes better this summer. I enjoyed talking with her, she genuinely seemed to care about me so that always felt nice.
