CollegeUnclear expectations and lazy teaching covered up by projecting on students.
You have to copy the lab procedures word for word in your lab notebook. Incredibly condescending and annoying emails- doesn't seem to care about students' wellbeing or grades. You're in the lab for all 4 hours, and you do hours of work outside of lab each week (for a 2.5-unit class!). Final is so hard, and there's not enough time to complete it.
Genuinely the worst professor at the school. Read her reviews under Texas Rio Grande since most are from UCSB students. Either gives an impossible final or curves down to meet the B+ average she made up. Doesn't even teach the lessons and hardly communicates with TAs and students. Take the class over the summer if you can bc she will ruin you gpa.
She is my #1 opp. The lab itself isn't really that hard it just depends on your TA. I got lucky with my TAs for 2AL and 2BL and both were pretty chill. She will curve your grade down to reach her quota of A's and B's. Her finals are also stupid and pretty much don't cover any content we did in the lab.
