CollegeI never interacted with Professor Pazos because she doesn't teach. My TA was very helpful, but I found the course expectations unclear. The lab report rubrics lacked detail, which made grading feel inconsistent between TAs. The final exam was hard, and we received no guidance on how to study. The workload felt high for a 2.5-unit course.
Labs were simple, but final tanked my grade because you have zero knowledge on what could be on the final (including the TAs). Very very defensive about her average.
Lab was fine because my TA was good, but zero instruction or guidance for the final, which tanked my grade. I had a notecard for the final, but didn't get to use it once because I studied all the wrong things. She will curve you down so expect a B
Class is taught by the TAs. The prof sends some helpful information about each lab but theres no lecture to this class. Use her rubrics and the class isn't bad and do the extra credit. The final is a little tricky but very manageable compared to 1B. My grade got bumped with the curve, don't know anyones whos grades got curved down so bad rumor?
You mainly interact with TAs during lab. Final was a little funky but not unreasonable.
This professor didn't actually grade anything herself for the labs, as that was the TAs job, but she sent helpful emails every week and tried to help her students succeed. And despite the rumors, my grade didn't get curved down.
