CollegeDoes the teacher realize that we all take other courses besides hers? More work than my other 4 courses combined.
One of my FAVORITE professors here. She is passionate about her work and knows what she is talking about. It is clear she wants to help her students and wants to make our lives easier. She is very understanding, chill, and funny too! The material can be tedious, but the professor makes this course worth it. Participation is highly recommended
I was pleasantly surprised by this class. I think she's a great lecturer, she's clearly passionate about the topic, and she's very easy to talk to. Yes, there are 6 assignments spread out through the quarter but they aren't difficult and there are no midterms or finals. (Everything is chat-gptable too, but you didnt hear that from me lol)
Class was doable but the professor clearly didn't know what she was talking about, leaving the whole class confused every lecture. She had to be corrected by the TA several times and then would crash out every time because she didn't want to be wrong. Also her lectures are rambling sessions and extremely boring. Unnecessarily heavy work load.
Professor Taylor was a great professor. Her lectures were clear and easy to follow. There were seven (time consuming but easy) assignments and the expectations were made clear. Feedback was helpful and if you follow it you should improve. Lots of reading and weekly quizzes but the guiding questions are really helpful if you look over them.
The writing assignments in this class were a huge pain. Not only were they harshly graded, but got zero feedback. I had to keep bugging the ta to give me feedback on why I got points off?? Follows a weird version of ASA formatting. Quiz questions contradict the reading if you can even access the readings. Repetitive weekly assignments.
