CollegeLove him. He is such a nice guy who is passionate about what he teaches. is class is easy, as long as you do your assignments because they are all connected.
The best professor at UCSB! He really cares about every student and teaches so well! I recommend this to anyone who's hoping to take his course!! 10/10!!!
He is very lighthearted and aims to have his students succeed and understand the material. Very accommodating and engaging lectures. The projects were fun and interactive
One of my favorite professors at UCSB. I took his 136A course last Fall and fell in love with the subject. Assignments can be challenging, but the TA (Marat) provides great feedback. Overall a wonderful professor and caring person.
Best professor at UCSB! cares so much about his students and cares about what he is teaching. I wish I could take another one of his classes! Would recommend everyone in the sociology department take one of his courses.
Professor Whitehead is extremely passionate and competent. He cares a lot about his students and he is very dedicated to helping his students do better on their assignments. Lectures are thorough (however they are pretty dense and he moves fast) but he is very accessible outside of class and very helpful during office hours.
