This class was pretty easy but also just felt like a bunch of random, disparate topics all thrown together. I was a missing a "so what" moment towards the end of the quarter to tie everything together. Professor was nice but also gave off the vibe that she was making it up as she went along.

Her class layout made it so that course material was easy to digest and retain. I learned so much and feel like a more prepared and educated sociology student. If you want an easy A - where you can slack off, this isn't for you. This class is for serious soc students who are ready to learn. Will def take her again!

iClicker attendance which sucks bc lectures are so boring - otherwise super easy to do well as long as ur familiar with the couple of readings each week (which u should be if u do the weekly reading responses). VERY BASIC material prob due to the prof's seemingly basic understanding of them... helpful office hours though? wouldn't wanna take again

Attendance is mandatory(I-Clicker), doesn't give out extra credit, or allow late submissions. I would not recommend this course unless you like being ragebaited. Barely any feedback, if any at all. I did learn something, but at what cost?

Uses IClicker. Says "um" maybe every five seconds (quite distracting). Reads straight off slides, sometimes doesn't seem like she knows what she's saying. Midterm is difficult. Have to get 100% on every assignment if you want an A. She assigns A LOT of readings a week. TA does grade pretty quick.

She seemed nice but the class was confusing. I just didn't know what we were learning when and it just felt like random topics. She used iClicker to make sure u went to class which was kind of annoying because she just read off slides that she posts later anyway. The essays were graded nicely but the test was a little hard because it was so random.
