CollegeDK is a funny guy. Class material wasn't my cup of tea but the discussion sections made it interesting since we looked at a case study every time. Short quizzes, ~4 assignments, and a final where you have to attend a planning hearing. Definitely take it if you have any interest in Env. Planning since it provides a good foundation.
DK himself is a great guy but the material he lectures on was not interesting to me. A lot was just read off from slides during lecture. Section has quizzes that are pretty hard if you didn't absorb ALL of the information from lecture, hard homework assignments and a final that's really hard as you have to go to a public hearing.
I think environmental planning as a course is quite boring but DK made it as interesting as possible. He's also really funny which made lecture a bit more interesting. The whole class was graded based on section attendance, pop quizzes, assignments, and a final report. The quizzes are short, but each point counts for one percent of the final grade.
