This professor was absolutely awful, the exams are completely based off lectures which are super hard to follow and take notes on. The TA does everything for this class and it seems like the professor has no idea what is going on. On the way to this class I would hope to get hit by a car in hopes of not going. Whatever you do don't take this class.

One of my favorite classes I've ever taken! There's seven quizzes, two midterms, and a final however if you do the readings of the Bible that he assigns you will be good. He's an awesome teacher and truly wants you to succeed in his class. He's unintentionally hilarious and I will 100% be taking another one of his classes in the future.

Great Professor. Readings are helpful but the lectures are mandatory if you want to pass his class. Take his classes especially if you're interested in Religious Studies, he knows his stuff.

This is my favorite Professor in UCSB. I would encourage you to take any of his classes. If you want to pass you HAVE to attend lecture. He will provide everything you need to be successful in his class. Readings provided are always helpful. He is happy to answer any questions you have. Very accessible outside of class. He cares than you learn.
