Graded by 4 response papers, 1 midterm paper, and 1 final paper. Had short weekly in-class writings that were credit/no credit, and you could skip 3 out of 10. Attendance not mandatory, but he doesn't post lecture slides. Material was easy to understand and it is clear Cho is passionate about the material. Highly recommend- not a difficult class!

The class was actually really interesting and helped me learn a lot! While lectures weren't mandatory I highly suggest going to them since they helped me prep really well for the midterm and final. He began posting the slides online too. Graded on final + midterm + weekly quizzes + four mini reflection papers.

Professor Cho always made lecture engaging and it was a GE that felt very applicable to lots of modern day challenges and issues. Probably one of my favorite courses I've taken at this school. I learned things I didn't know I would and came away with a much deeper understanding of the subject. He also treats his students with respect and is FUNNY!

Prof Cho is very intelligent and being in his presence made me feel inspired to be smarter. He really values his students opinions, time, and hard work. The class itself is not very hard: 4 weekly assignments and you can to pick what weeks to do them, drops your two lowest quizzes, get cheat sheets for midterm/final

The best professor I've ever had. The course material was really interesting and inspirational. The grading policy is also very good. Want to take this course again.
