CollegeProfessor Ben is, by far, one of the nicest, kindest, most caring professors I have ever had. I took the course for GE credit (truly if you show up and submit the assignments, it is really really hard to do poorly) and ended up absolutely loving him and the course. Can't recommend him enough- he's genuinely a wonderful person!
Prof. Z is so approachable and really cares about his class and students. Class is graded on participation and 3 essays that are 60 or 80% of your grade. He posts grading clear criteria and provides opportunities to regain points back with him in office hours. He gives amazing feedback on how to score the correct points. Best GE I have taken here.
Pro Zulueta is very approachable and genuinely cares for the success of his students. although the course could be organized better, it's truly the professors who care about their students that makes it worth it to attend class. He's also very reachable outside of class to answer questions and of course, assist you during office hours.
Zulueta is a great professor! I don't understand the hate. He tries really hard to connect with the class and offers many opportunities for participation points. It's not hard to get a good grade if you show up. I didn't do all of the readings but still succeeded. No midterm or final. Graded on 3 writing assignments and a final essay.
The professor was an incredibly TOUGH GRADER and UNAPPROACHABLE. Despite repeated attempts to provide constructive feedback or ask for clarification, he was cold/blunt, offering no support or help. His EXTREMELY HARD grading style left no room for improvement, he wouldn't make adjustments. DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HIM!!!
As long as you show up and try, you're fine. He is an incredible professor and genuinely has a lot of love for his students. Definitely take!
