Introduction to Topology . MATH 145
Metric spaces, continuity, compactness, classification of surfaces, Euler characteristics, and fundamental groups. Additional topics at the discretion of the instructor.
Prerequisites: Math 8 with a C or better. Either Math 108A or Math 117 with a minimum grade of C.

Easiest class ever I didn't even try
5 online tests and homework which wasn't bad. However Prof was a terrible lecturer and you basically have to self-study using youtube, CLAS, or hope for a good TA.
Just 5 online tests, and homeworks which are not that bad. But the class is poorly taught, mainly depends on the student to self study with youtube, CLAS, finding the textbook online, or hope they have a good TA.
Class was very easy, 5 online, at home tests instead of a midterm/final. Not good at lecturing, talks too much about theory and not enough about how to actually solve problems, but my TA understood that and was how I did all of my learning for this class.
Professor Labutin's lectures make no sense. Going to lecture just made me more confused. There are no midterms or final, just quizzes every other week that are take home, open note. Having a good TA and attending CLAS made the class manageable.
Labutin's lectures are usually confusing and hard to keep up with. That being said, this class is a free A, all tests are online and at-home, open note.
