CollegeReally bad lecturer but he tries his best to engage with students. Practice exams were identical to real exams so can't complain too much. He does iClicker attendance, but you can make it up by posting on a chat forum, so I wouldn't recommend going.
Super chill and nice guy, only thing is I took it in Campbell which made it kinda difficult to learn. also, the structure of the class wasn't my fav, it was answering clicker questions that he posted, not so much learning fundamentals. final was much tougher than the practice tests.
Exams are very similar to practice exams, gives you a notecard to write whatever you want. I would recommend writing down the problems from the practice tests on the notecard. Let's you make up attendance with Nectir posts, which is really easy. Grades take a longgg time to get put in.
Very good and engaging lecturer, definitely cares about the success of students. Lots of homework due every MWF. Some homework problems are pretty interesting such as proving Fermat's little theorem, interesting counting, etc. Exams are pretty straightforward. Grading is extremely slow, 2nd midterm and final were graded 1 wk after grades due.
He's so funny and awesome, like the human version of garfield the cat. If you have to take a math course, take it with this professor!
This dude is the goat such a nice guy and the class is so free he gives practice tests for every test and if you know how to do them you will get an A just learn what's on the practice test a few days before test day
