CHEM3L . Pazos S A Month Ago

I really enjoyed 3L. It made me feel like an actual scientist and my TA was helpful and gave good feedback. It was the first time the class was taught but Pazos has pretty clear expectations. I like how we were able to redo the experiments. The whole class was doable and I think most of the class ended with an A or B.

CHEM3L . Pazos S A Month Ago

This class made me realize why I want to do research. I had a lot of fun taking this class and I think I really understood how to explain my data. The prof was very responsive and helpful and so was my TA. It was cool taking a class with only chem majors. Make sure you follow the rubrics provided

CHEM3L . Pazos S A Month Ago

Prof was nice and my TA was very helpful. If you go to the Profs ONDAS office hours she rarely has people go to those so you can ask her advice on what to do with a chem career. I liked being able to plan my own experiments in this class.

CHEM2AL . Pazos S 14 Days Ago

I never interacted with Professor Pazos because she doesn't teach. My TA was very helpful, but I found the course expectations unclear. The lab report rubrics lacked detail, which made grading feel inconsistent between TAs. The final exam was hard, and we received no guidance on how to study. The workload felt high for a 2.5-unit course.

CHEM2AL . Pazos S 22 Days Ago

Labs were simple, but final tanked my grade because you have zero knowledge on what could be on the final (including the TAs). Very very defensive about her average.

CHEM2BL . Pazos S 22 Days Ago

Was worried to take this class because I took gen chem two years ago. This class was easier than my other lab classes. It was cool to meet a Latina chemistry professor. She was very kind and provided a lot of advice.
