Not a lot of general course support, but lectures go far deeper and are more complex than the exams, making the tests significantly lighter. Has a "highest score out of two" midterm policy, final exam is a near replica of the practice

Literally the GOAT! the exams were so similar to the practice exams and he made the class very easy to succeed in! I would take again 10000000% Highly recommend

Professor Atzberger was an okay teacher. His slides were confusing and he didn't give a lot of examples for some of the problems. However his tests were really easy and basically were the practice exam questions with different numbers. The homework was also tricky with some questions not even talked about from lecture. Overall, the class was easy.

In my opinion, it was very easy. He extends HW's due dates A LOT. There will also be pop quizzes, so beware of that. His exams are practically identical to the practice exams. But his lectures are so boring. He just read off from the slides he copied and pasted from the math textbook. Having a good TA will help you pass this class.

He could definitely be better at teaching but he's better than most UCSB math professors. Always giving extensions on hw and provides outside sources on the application of linear algebra in the real world. Attendance is mandatory but sent announcement after the last class that its not going to count towards our grade, might just be this quarter.

Very boring theory heavy lectures. Typed out textbook slides. Very easy exams that are basically identical to the practice exams. He WILL complain about students missing lecture every morning and he will always extend hw deadlines. Overall boring but relatively easy class.
