He's such a nice guy, and not very difficult. He really wants you to understand the subject, and does well in getting across the important stuff. He's great.

He is the NICEST person ever! His class is interesting and it shouldnt be hard if you review your notes before the tests. Reading the book is a big help. You don't have to go to every class to still do well. I'm taking another one of his courses, and I'm not a science person at all. He's great.

kohl really is the nicest professor here. he's a pretty good teacher too! he loves the material, and wants everyone to learn it. he puts the notes up online, which makes it easy to keep up. it was his class that made me decide to become a bio major.

The class is kinda boring, but the prof is a really chill guy...u dont always have to go to class to pass...puts lecture up online...unless ur the type that cant learn without goin to lecture...u should read the book too...

I would recommend this teacher to everyone- he is soo nice and would do anything for you to succeed. He helps you out so much anytime you need it. I actually like science now because of his class.

This is such a great class! One of the best professors at SB. His lectures are so interesting, and he really tries to make each and every student understand the material. Take a class with him! I guarantee you'll love it!

Most awesome teacher ever! Super helpful and really cares about student's wellbeing

Dr. Kohl is the Greatest! He is the nicest man and the most helpful teacher. Tries very hard to make science easy and accessible to non majors. Has been at UCSB for a long time so is a great resource about anything!
