Religion and film was one of the coolest classes I ever had the chance to take! It was very fun and I LOVED the movies he picked. He was funny,made great comments and he really knew what he was talking about. It was also one of the easiest classes at UCSB

Loved the class, hated him. Was not nice at ALL, when I approached him to ask him a question. Chose good readings, though.

Prof. Hecht really knows his stuff. He has a lot of reading and expects a lot from his students, but he is fun especially if you catch him in a smaller class.

I guess you shouldn't take 80B, but he's way chill in 108 (AKA -- Globl 102).

If you are taking the 80 series for the E Area GE, take 80A and 80C. Skip 80B if you can!

I'd rather play leapfrog with unicorns than take another class with him
