it wasnt necessary to come to lectures because she talks about the same thing again and again.good thing my TA was nice. she's very passionate, but she considers everything sac-religion and takes everything too seriously
pppppphh. If you're not into religious studies or Indians, prepare to be bored.
unclear assignments...interesting lectures, but they rarely pertained to the class...class had no structure...prof. and t.a.'s were very defensive about topic, borderline discriminatory against non-native americans...wouldn't suggest this course to anyone
Her lectures seem somewhat preached, but as the class went on, they got better. She knows what she is talking about and is very passionate about her Apache people.
A critical role model for students who seek indigeneous empowerment and community pride. Her lectures are phenomenal and if you understand anything about spirituality you will understand her unique gifts. TALAMANTEZ is hard-core and power to you Hermana
she liked to get the class involved and she was very motivational. she did discuss a lot about the native aspects of being chicano, but i see that as being relavent though some people don't. it's nice to have a liberal, down to earth professor.
INTERESTING LECTURES, WELL ORGANIZED. AN ALL AROUND FUN WOMAN.
HORRIBLE!! **** comments. Gives wandering, unprepared for lectures. MexAm who recently discovered being part Apache. Phoney. Skips classes, dumps them on TAs. Seems to grade on whim, doesn't give a * about students. Irresponsible and unscholarly.
Weird Chicana/ Native lady who talked too much of that environmental, mother earth, visions, medicine man, we are one with the Spirit yaya. NOT ALL Native people are like that so please cut the act. I dropped her class after the first day!
SHE IS THE WORST PROFESSOR IN THE WORLD!!!
