Clear teacher. Shows enthusiasm for teaching, albeit being a little egotistical. Study his lectures (posted online) for the tests, but SHOW UP FOR CLASS and take notes on concepts he has highlighted in bold. Course readings are almost irrelevant. All multiple choice tests, grades on improvement. He's a very smart fellow, ask questions.

This teacher is why UCSB is a great geography school. There is no one in GIS that knows more that G-Child, but he is not too hard, he's good at honing in on contemporary things and keeping the course directed on a path that gives students proper undergrad skills to enter the job market.
