This was one of the most boring classes to attend lecture wise. SHE IS BASICALLY MONOTONE! lecture is pointless, just read the book and attend section. The grading is pretty difficult but it ultimately depends on your TA. Although the professor wasn't great the material was VERY interesting and the book is also!

Lectures were super bornig. I took her class on da summer n although the midterm n final were easy the paper was a pain of 10 pages. The TA filiberto bellitle students n was unprepared for sections. He always gave his person opinion about politics n was extremely unprofessional.

Prof Cline is a very sweet lady. She is very passionate and knows so much about history as well as what is going on presently. Her lecture style can be a little intimidating at first because it's not quite as structured and she says a lot but if you just go to class, take notes, and do the required reading the tests are really not difficult!

FANTASTIC professor! she made class so fun and engaging. She was really interesting to listen to, b/c she really knows her stuff. I agree about RAFAELA, she's horrible!! she DID demand more than the professor did, and was much harsher abt it. she kicked us ALL out of section b/c no one wanted to speak abt the docs. TAKE THE CLASS BUT AVOID RAFAELA!

I loved her; she's been one of my favorites. She's very enthusiastic about the subject. Her lecture were always very organized and very interesting. The paper topics were interesting too. She's got all sorts of fun stories to tell (in relation to the subject) both during and outside of class.

this class was not what i exptected and the fact that my TA demanded more than the professor did not help! don't take this class unless you are a genius in mexican history ! ! AVOID RAFAELA ACEVEDO (TA)!
