POLS 12- Really Great Professor my best class at UCSB yet. The professor is very knowledgeable and gives great lectures keeping everyone engaged. Attendance to both section and Lecture is mandatory. There's 3 homework assignments, A midterm exam, 3 quizzes, Mock congress session, A final exam, and attendance grade. For exams he gives study guides.

He's so sweet if you go to his office hours. His lecture slides don't hold as much information as his lecturing so do pay attention. But aside from that his class isn't that bad and his final isn't too difficult.

Pols 6: Quizzes are about textbook not lecture --> will tank your grade. He is super nice and wants everyone to pass. Has a thick accent and wears mask sometimes hard to understand. Gotta attend lecture uses google form sheet. Slides have no words so do not miss class.

Took intro global politics with him. He is a knowledgeable lecturer and can even be funny at times, his class has an assignment, mock UN Security Council Meeting that he himself says is usually bad, and can tank your HW grade. Otherwise the tests are easy if you follow his lectures and he offers ample extra credit options on them. Would take again.

Aside from having a 20 page final, this was the best course I have taken at SB. Please take him if you actually want to learn at this school. He is the best EVER. He is so flexible with communication/grading if you put in the work.
