This guy is cool! I liked his class, very straightforward.

Interesting class subject and quizzes/tests are very easy since questions are given before. Lectures got boring sometimes but he was very invested in the topics he taught. 4 quizzes, a midterm, and a final, but all very easy. Readings aren't necessary for tests.

He's a great professor and passionate about the subject. Lectures could be a little dull at times. Tests and quizzes are easy as you are given the questions beforehand. A great subject to learn about and a good GE choice.

I think Professor Tsymbal was very reasonable with his grading policies, and very generous. This class is truly how much effort you're wiling to put in to it, and he provides you with all the tools for success!!

GLOBL1 is a pretty solid GE choice! Most of the homework was weekly readings which are discussed in section and do appear on exams. In section, there is one short quarterly presentation to give, but thats it. The professor was super clear about grading criteria and expectations. Lectures can get a little dull at times, but he is super knowledgable.

The class wasn't hard in my opinion. Lecture is mandatory. I went to most lectures and I think he could improve the pace of lecture. He will sometimes spend more than 10 minutes on one slide and will speed up on the slides when class is about to end. For quizzes he gives you a study guide in advance and uses questions from that study guide.
