He doesn't give guidelines about the formatting of exams or have a study guide, and suggests us to review the 350 pages of slides. When I opened the exam booklet, I almost peed my pants. Other than that, he seems like a genuine nice guy.

This guy seems like a good person, but his teaching method needs some work. He gave no information or guidance on the exams other than "just review the slides" (there are 350 slides packed with information how are we supposed to study all of them?) I think a study guide or having some assignments to help balance our grades would be beneficial.

I really enjoyed this class, the lectures made me want to go to class even at 9:30am. You can tell he is really passionate about the subject matter and the tests were reasonable if you paid attention to the lectures. 100% would take him again

Dr. Sharbrough is new at UCSB and he is amazing!! Such great lectures - he makes the topic very engaging and you can tell that he really loves what he studies. Tests were not easy per say but definitely accessible if you study hard. Such a nice guy UCSB is lucky to have gotten him!
