Possibly the easiest class in UCSB in my opinion. Awesome lectures clear grading criteria if you want an easy GE this is the one to take.

Easiest class I have taken at UCSB. I will say that the prof is extremely overrated though after all the glazing in this thread. Material isn't all that interesting, and his strict no phone rule is mad annoying and he takes it too srs. Tests are fairly easy. Just go to class for attendance and be ready to command f the PDFs when taking exams.

Professor Mundra is an exceptional teacher. His lectures are very interesting and engaging. He is extremely knowledgeable and will stay after class to answer any student questions. I highly recommend this class and all of Professor Mundra's classes. What a great gift to have teachers like this at UCSB.

He is a great lecturer, strict no phone policy, open notes or essay option for all quizzes and finals. Lots of reading but texts provided as pdfs. Very easy to reach outside of class, answers questions well and engages students.

Super easy GE even though lectures were kind of boring. Quizzes and midterm are open note. Only complaint is he has a super strict no phone policy in lecture which got in the way of my trophy progress in clash royale. I am in lecture while writing this and he just yelled at someone for having their phone out.

Mundra is my favorite prof so far at UCSB. He sets clear expectations for the course, show up to lecture and u will pass. It's more than just grades though, his lectures are exceptional. A smaller class setting allows you to really interact and discuss the material in contrast to a 500 person lecture in cambell. I'd recomend taking just for fun 5/5
