Outstanding professor. Extremely passionate, articulate and knows how to create a cohesive course that remains relevant and engaging, even in a large lecture hall.

Hinckley is the best Political science professor. He makes lectures and materials really clear. Go to lecture they really help in understanding the material. I highly recommend this class with Hinckley

Hinckley is a very good lecturer and I had no trouble following along because he somehow made comparative politics interesting to learn. I had no interest going into the class, but I learned a great deal about types of government and the human development sequence. I somehow got a C+ after receiving a B on the midterm. Dont know about paper/final.

I loved Hinckley for PS 6, and I was thrilled when I saw I could take 104 with him. One of the nicest instructors I've ever had, and doesn't overwork his students.

I fully recommend Hinckley for this class. There is no midterm or final test, just papers (3 pg and 6 page). He usually does weekly online, timed quizzes on the readings that are annoying buy doable. There is a decent amount of reading, but it is interesting.
