Sometimes the grading criteria isn't very clear, and that's my biggest complaint. Otherwise, this was a fascinating class taught by someone who truly cares and is passionate about the material. I like the emphasis on varied perspectives. Just don't get behind on reading.

Nathan's passion is clear in every class, keeping students genuinely engaged. He connects course themes to contemporary issues, so the material felt relevant and urgent rather than distant. The conversational format fostered critical thinking and meaningful dialogue. This dynamic learning environment is far more engaging than a traditional lecture.

Nathan is a great educator, he was always motivated and passionate about the topics we talked about in class every week. He was encouraging, allowing all the students to feel comfortable to participate in class. He planned museum visits for us, where we engaged in conversations with other professionals.
