I was once mad that I was so screwed by his hard quizzes and his anti-cheating approaches brought a lot of hassle to the class. However, after knowing that once some int'l students were cheating in front of him, exchanging answers in Mandarin, and he couldn't report them as he didn't understand it, I want to express my support to what he has done.

His HW is tough and his quizzes are also pretty tricky, but he's fair and actually cares about his students, unlike some professors in the department. He always provides Office Hours outside assigned times on the syllabus and I recommend you utilize it. He'll take care of you.

Waterbury gives insanely hard quizzes. Most people around me are considering dropping the course after quiz 1. He changed the grading method without any notice - he began to take attendance for the 8am lecture just with a verbal notice in lecture. The department should audit Waterbury if he is not leaving this school for good.

I don't write reviews but Adam is so caring and chill, he wants his students to succeed. His lectures help a lot, he gives out examples and will go through everything with you. He would answer as many questions as you may have and won't get mad. Quizzes, midterm, and final are all straightforward. The class was hard on its own but got lots of help.

His lectures are not helpful and he does not teach the subject well. It is difficult to understand what he is saying because he talks low and his handwriting is hard to read. To do well in the class you have to teach yourself the material.
