If you value hearing both sides of a debate, do not take this class. Grading was based on how well you adhered to the professor and TA's opinion. No room for free thinking, you were told what to think. Easy class with 3 papers, but frustratingly one sided.

Really awesome professor. He made the final optional, gave extra credit for attending, and then gave everybody 100% for attendance grade. Although there is a lot of reading and many thought that he was a tough grader, I really enjoyed his class.

Professor Kretz is amazing. My favorite professor thus far, he was so insightful and so good at lecturing engagingly. Material was easy to understand and interesting. I went to his office hours just to talk to him about the subject matter and his opinions and he had so many good things to say. The class is so good, highly recommend.

Best professor I've had. I took HIST 74 and went out of my way to take him again. His lectures are informative and comprehensive. I recommend reaching out to him, especially for the essays, because he gives great insight and answers your questions in detail. Highly recommend his classes.

Graded by three essays based on weekly readings and lectures. Easy A if you can write and skim over course materials.
